        At this point it can be said that what is the mystery of "Teshiktosh"? First of all, it is a natural wonder. Under the influence of erosion and winds, a beautiful and fascinating work of art was created from the stone. That is, it has not been processed by humans. Someone compares this stone to the head of two huge dinosaurs colliding, while someone else compares it to a human heart. It is known that such stones can be seen only in a few countries of the world. This stone differs from other famous stones on earth by its structure, size and weight. Some sources report that this solid stone is more than 2.5 million years old.
Most of the tourists coming to Samarkand from different parts of the world express their desire to see this natural wonder in Urgut. Therefore, the opportunities of ecotourism and ethnotourism are embodied in "Teshiktosh".
         Above, we did not dwell on the desire of travel enthusiasts for nothing. Indeed, we can see that their interest in "Teshiktosh" is growing from the number of visitors here. This creates the need to further improve conditions and amenities for them. For this purpose, at the same time, efforts are being made to preserve the monument, which is included in the list of cultural heritage of Uzbekistan, and to expand the use of its touristic opportunities.
        "Teshiktosh" tourist resort was created in the vicinity of the ancient natural monument, on an area of   55 hectares. Guest houses and gardens for tourists are being restored here. A number of projects are being implemented to turn Maskan into a real recreation center. For example, thousands of pistachio and almond trees are planted and cared for in the area.
